Women's Power Charitable Trust
Since there was poverty, illetracy and lack of health and hygiene in the rural parts Tamil Nadu, The NGO rose to the situation and is been serving the society since 2 years.
Women's Power Charitable Trust was founded in 2020, in Tamil Nadu. The NGO has been serving the society in sectors of Women Empowerment, Health, Disability sector, Food distribution to the needy and Children rights. The NGO has been giving awareness about the legal rights of women , Training in preparation of house hold items, Food for the Old age homes, grocery items to the needy people. Wheel chair to the disabled people. Awareness Campaign on Government Welfare schemes and women empowerment program by training the women for manufacture of Sanitary pads and House hold equipment's.

Our Programs
Awareness Campaign on Government Welfare Scheme
Cauvery Development and Planning, Child Protection Unit, Trichy and Women’s Power Trust ,
Trichy jointly organized a meeting on Empowering Civil Society Organisation in Seven Indian
Federal State towards Promoting Awareness on Government Welfare Schemes among the people
under the project held on 17.08.2022 at Government Higher Secondary School, Somarsampettai,
Trichy. Mrs. Mary Julia, Managing Trustee, Women’s Power Trust explained various central and
state government schemes to the women’s. She highlighted approaches to avail welfare schemes.
The programme reached out to 412 men and women’s in Somarasampettai area.
Wheel Chair donated to Physically Challenged People
The Women’s Power Trust donated Wheel Chair to Physically Challenged People one lac worth.
The trust members identified the physically challenged people in the service area. Then they
prepare a case study about the person. The board of trust members decided to donate wheel chair
to the person. The person thanks everyone to take effort for the programme.

Food kits distribution
The NGO distributes Food Grocieries like Oil, grains , pulses , soap and masks to the needy people 10th of every month to about 50 people. And so far about 1000 people have benefited from this program

Awareness Campaign on Empowering Civil Society Organisation
The Don Bosco Mondo, Don Bosco Network in South Asia, Cauveri Development and Planning
and Women’s Power Trust jointly organized a meeting on Empowering Civil Society
Organisation in Seven Indian Federal State towards Promoting Awareness on Government
Welfare Schemes among the people under the project held on 12.08.2022 at Bharathidasan
University, Trichy. The aim of the program was to aware the people on government welfare
schemes. Mrs. Mary Julia, Managing Trustee, Women’s Power Trust explained various central
and state government schemes to the women’s. She also explained how to get the schemes,
approaches and methods. A total of 99 women participated.

Republic Day Function
The Women’s Power Trust celebrated this day in our target area. During the occasion, flag
hoisting ceremony, special talks, sweet distribution and tree plantation were conducted. The
members of Panchayat council, ward members participated. On behalf of 74th Republic day, The
Women’s and including one hundred and twenty five people were participated. The members
of Women’s Power Trust took part in the grama sabha meeting and to discuss
implementation state and central government welfare schemes.
